The new agreement signed with Comunità Energetiche S.p.A. covers 46 photovoltaic plants across Central Italy, totaling approximately 49 MWp
Altenia continues to strengthen its presence in the photovoltaic Operation & Maintenance sector through a new agreement with Comunità Energetiche S.p.A., a FIEE SGR platform that supports industries, SMEs, and local communities in the emerging virtual energy sharing market.
The agreement covers ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services, as well as emergency response activities, for 26 photovoltaic plants already connected to the grid, with a total installed capacity of approximately 22 MWp, and 20 additional plants currently under construction, bringing the overall managed capacity to around 49 MWp. The facilities are located across Umbria, Abruzzo, and Lazio and will be progressively taken over by Altenia starting in the second half of 2026.
This partnership further confirms Altenia’s ability to manage photovoltaic assets with diverse technical characteristics and configurations, leveraging its extensive nationwide operational presence and specialized expertise to support infrastructure throughout its entire lifecycle.
The project is also based on an integrated collaboration model that combines complementary capabilities. Half Bridge Automation, a company specialized in power electronics and digital solutions for energy infrastructure, will provide the plant central controllers (CCI), while Altenia will oversee the operational and maintenance management of the plants, ensuring reliability, continuity of service, and timely intervention.
This collaboration highlights the value of an integrated approach that combines technical expertise, operational excellence, and digital technologies to maximize plant performance and support the development of a more efficient and sustainable energy system.
