Altenia invests in skills for operational excellence

Specialized training at the Terna Academy for the Operation & Maintenance team

A team of professionals from Altenia’s Operation & Maintenance department took part in an advanced training program at the Terna Academy in Rome (Marcigliana), focused on the technologies, components, and processes that characterize high-voltage electrical substations.

The four-day program provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the activities involved in monitoring, operating, and maintaining electrical infrastructure. The training combined classroom-based learning with hands-on field experience, including a visit to the Roma Nord electrical substation.

The initiative represented an important opportunity for professional development and technical specialization, enabling participants to strengthen key competencies for the efficient and safe management of energy assets.

For Altenia, investing in people means strengthening its expertise and ensuring the highest standards of quality across its operations. Continuous learning is a strategic priority that allows the company to keep pace with the evolution of the energy sector and support the transition towards a more innovative, sustainable, and resilient energy system.
