Scope
STE Energy, a subsidiary of Altenia, has built the HV substation in Kashimbila, Nigeria, to support the large national hydroelectric project. The intervention aimed to ensure the integration of the energy produced by the hydroelectric plant into the local electricity system, improving its reliability and distribution capacity.
Activity
- Design and construction of the high voltage substation
- Supply and installation of primary and secondary equipment
- Implementation of protection, control and automation systems
- Functional testing and commissioning.
Results
The project was completed within the agreed timeframe and in total compliance with contractual obligations. The technologies and strategies adopted have made it possible to create a cutting-edge, efficient and secure infrastructure, capable of supporting the evolution and resilience of the national electricity system.
