Objective
STE Energy has built the Misicuni hydroelectric plant, one of the most important infrastructures for Bolivia’s energy development. The plant, located in the Cochabamba region, was designed to enhance local water resources and ensure a sustainable supply of electricity.
Activity
- Supply and complete installation of electromechanical systems (Water to Wire);
- Assembly and commissioning of 3 Pelton turbines of 40 MW each;
- Implementation of electrical and automation systems;
- On-site testing and commissioning activities.
Results
The plant was built in compliance with the contractual deadlines and quality standards, confirming STE Energy’s technical and organizational capabilities and its contribution to the security and sustainability of the local energy system.
